Questions About Finding the Right Fit.
What program should my child start in?
Ages 4 and 5 start in Cubs, built for the youngest students. Ages 6 to 11 train in Basic. Ages 12 to 15 move into Jaguars, our youth track with live training. From there, teens and adults train in our Teen and Adult classes. We also run Summer Camp and an After School program for ages 5 to 12.
What style is every program built on?
Every program is pure Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: grappling and ground-game self-defense. It is one of the safest and most effective martial arts to train, for kids and adults alike.
Why choose jiu-jitsu for self-defense?
Jiu-jitsu works through leverage and technique rather than size or strength, which is exactly why it builds such durable confidence. It has one of the lowest injury rates of any martial art, and it is the most studied martial art on the ground for real self-defense.
Are programs sorted by age or skill level?
Primarily by age, because physical and cognitive development drives the right training format. Within each program, classes mix skill levels and instruction is differentiated so beginners are never expected to perform at the level of advanced students.
